Snax 4 da soul was a radio platform that celebrated and musically connected the many corners of the Black diaspora.
Our shows covered everything from Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Jazz, Soul, and Afrobeats to alternative and dance music, Grime, Drill, Jungle, Funky, Dancehall, Reggae, Soca, Bouyon and more.!
I started Snax 4 da Soul in 2022 as a blog that used used my record collection as an entry point for musical discussion. This then grew into a radio project in 2022 with our first broadcasts on Balamii Radio.
Before concluding in January 2026, the show broadcast across three platforms: Voices radio, Mode London and Sister Midnight FM, each dedicated to its own strand of black-centred music.
From celebrating timeless classics to showcasing the best emerging sounds, featuring guests from Taloula, Sam Recks to Nia Chennai, my team of DJs and creatives: 2atefour, Satra-Sia, Nwakuba Udenze, Shogun Shato, Misha Radkevitch served up a regular dose of incredible music from around the world each month.
I made the sad decision to end Snax 4 Da Soul at the start of 2026 citing my desire to focus on my musicianship and visual art work
,
as well as the blog entries that started it all.
